Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data LiveUHris collects, how it is used, who it is shared with and the choices available to you and your employees.

1.Data we collect
At LiveUHris we take privacy seriously. We collect information in order to provide a reliable HRIS experience and to keep your organisation's data secure.
When you visit www.liveuhr.com, our systems automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, access times and referring pages. This helps us monitor performance and improve the experience.
When you register or use our Services, we collect the personal and business details needed to operate the platform — including names, email addresses, contact information, company details and employee records. Where you use biometric attendance devices, biometric templates and attendance events are also processed to verify identity and record attendance.
2.How we use your data
Your data is used to operate and improve the HRIS, tailor your experience and keep the platform running reliably.
- Provide and improve our services:
- Ensure accurate payroll processing, attendance tracking and HR workflows across your organisation.
- Enhance security:
- Verify user identity, including through biometric data where enabled, and protect account and employee information.
- Communicate with you:
- Send service notifications, product updates and support information relevant to your subscription.
- Conduct analytics:
- Use anonymised, aggregated data to understand usage trends and continuously improve the platform.
3.Data sharing & protection
LiveUHris does not sell personal or employee data to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform, and only under strict confidentiality agreements.
Sensitive data — including biometric templates, payroll figures and employee records — is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored in line with applicable data protection standards. Any third-party analytics tools we use access anonymised aggregate data only, and cannot identify individual employees or your organisation.
4.Cookies & tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how the website and platform are used. You can manage cookie settings through your browser, though disabling cookies may affect certain features.
5.Your rights & choices
You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of personal information we hold about you. Where we process data on behalf of your employer as a customer of the platform, we will direct such requests to that organisation as the data controller.
6.Data retention
We retain personal and payroll data for as long as your subscription remains active, and thereafter only as long as required to meet statutory record-keeping obligations under Sri Lankan law. On written request following termination, we will delete or return your organisation's data.
7.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
